The best part about Lenovo’s Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition is its battery life. In testing by the renowned YouTuber Dave2D, the laptop managed to provide over eight hours in medium workloads and up to 11 hours and 31 minutes in light ones, showing that the 70 Whr battery is indeed doing its part in bringing in battery timings that are superior to Apple’s MacBook Air M3 and even AMD’s Hawk Point laptops such as ASUS’s Zenbook S16.

While Intel’s Lunar Lake CPU architecture plays a major role in achieving such battery timings, it isn’t solely responsible here. The Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition features a dedicated “AI Core,” which is beneficial in automatically adjusting power loads depending upon usage. For example, if the laptop is idle or running smaller workloads, the power levels will automatically drop down to sufficient levels, allowing efficient utilization of battery capacity.
