Tommy Fury has opened up about the “heartbreaking” time he’s been having since splitting with Molly-Mae Hague. The influencer, 25, shocked fans earlier this month when she announced her break-up with the boxer after five years together.
The 25-year-old has now slammed the “false allegations” made against him as he spoke out for the first time since their break up. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (August 28), Tommy posted an image of himself sat on the floor in the gym.
He wrote: “These last few weeks have been heartbreaking. The false allegations about me have been horrendous, thank you to everybody who has stood by me through this.”
Tommy has been accused of cheating on Molly-Mae with Milla Corfixen, who recently claimed she shared a kiss with the former Love Island star.
The 20-year-old jewellery assistant, who met Tommy in Ohrid, North Macedonia, revealed she had to delete her social media posts due to intense trolling on the platform.
In the statement shared on Instagram, she said: “I’ve had to delete all my posts due to the hate and nasty comments, as stated in the news story I gave! I didn’t do anything with Tommy Fury.
“I didn’t even know who he was, we only shared a kiss nothing else happened. And if I’d known about Molly-Mae I would never have kissed him back.”
Just yesterday, Molly-Mae broke her silence as she expressed gratitude towards her followers. “Thank you for being the best online friends I could’ve ever wished for,” she wrote on Instagram.
Neither have publicly revealed the reason behind their split, however, Tommy has been accused of cheating on Molly-Mae “multiple times” – an allegation he denies.
A spokesperson for the athlete previously said: “Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he’s consulting his lawyers.” Their split came as a huge shock as the former couple, who met on Love Island in 2019, celebrated their fifth anniversary just weeks ago.
Tommy and Molly-Mae moved in together just months after leaving the villa and got engaged last year. Their engagement came just a few months after Molly-Mae gave birth to their daughter, Bambi, in January 2023.
