Molly-Mae Hague speaks out for the first time post-Tommy Fury split

Must read

Molly-Mae Hague has spoken out on social media for the first time since announcing her split from Tommy Fury, to thank fans for their support.

Taking to Instagram for the first time almost two weeks after sharing news of their break up, Molly posted a photo of her stood on a balcony overlooking some water, in a matching grey two piece with her hair pulled back off her face.

In the caption, she wrote, “Thank you for being the best online friends I could’ve ever wished for.”

Molly and Tommy met in the Love Island villa back in 2019, going on to get engaged and welcome their daughter, Bambi, together in 2022. But sadly it wasn’t to be, with the 25-year-olds announcing their split earlier this month with separate statements on Instagram.

Sharing the news on Stories, Molly wrote on the 14th August, “Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.

“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority. I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.

“Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time. I’ll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x.”

Tommy later added, “I am heartbroken that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship.
The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a da
d. Bambi is our priority. Please respect our privacy, and our families’ privacy as we navigate our way through this difficult time.”

Here’s to hoping both Molly and Tommy are doing OK at this difficult time.
