Kelly Brook admitted she was ‘completely broken’ following a tense row with her husband Jeremy Parisi in Wednesday’s episode of Celebrity Race Across The World.
The model, 44, has joined forces with her spouse for an epic journey through South America, but a huge mishap on their trip sparked a clash between them.
Thanks to an error, Kelly and Jeremy found themselves miles behind their celebrity rivals, and they ended up stranded in Brazil, with no local currency after spending too much money on a taxi.
Jeremy decided that they should get a taxi, but it cost them four vital hours in the race, while Kelly’s decision to take a coastal route also added to their time.
Storming down the street to find a bank to change some currency, Kelly told Jeremy: ‘Oh my God, like one terrible decision. You grabbed that taxi, and then we were stuck.’

‘If we’re moving at that pace, we’re going to keep making those mistakes.’
Jeremy hit back: ‘We’re on the same side!’
Kelly said: ‘I know we’re on the same side but the fact is, we were so desperate to race and get on the road we’re now walking around a city we don’t know trying to find a bank.’
The couple eventually found a bus to continue their journey, but only after they’d missed two before.
Visibly exhausted after spending all night in a bus station, Kelly admitted: ‘It’s 11.19am and we’ve missed two busses, so we’re going to try and get on the 1pm and we have to get down there now because I am, honestly, I am completely broken.Â
‘We are literally exhausted. Jeremy and I never argue. And I mean never. And we are being really tested on this.’
Kelly and her spouse Jeremy are going head-to-head with three other celebrity pairs:Â TV presenter Jeff Brazier and his youngest son Freddie, radio star Scott Mills and his now-husband Sam Vaughn, and actor Kola Bokinni and his cousin Mary Ellen.
The duo’s journey began at the gateway to the Amazon in Belém, Northern Brazil, and the couples are required to pass through five checkpoints before ending up at the finish line in Southern Chile.Â

‘Wow, we are really behind,’ Kelly gasped. ‘Where did we go wrong? Where did we go wrong?!’Â
While Jeremy implied that it was due to Kelly’s decision to travel along a coastal road, she admitted: ‘I think I’m getting the blame for this because I wanted to go for the coastal road and inland was actually the most direct route.’
The star recently recalled how the trip was the ‘honeymoon from hell’ as she reflected on the challenge in an interview.
After mistakenly believing the arduous 12,500km trek across South America would be an alternative honeymoon, Kelly told Closer magazine: ‘We hadn’t had a honeymoon and I said to Jeremy we should consider this as a fun alternative, a once-in-a-lifetime experience.Â
‘At times it was the honeymoon from hell – at other times it was absolutely glorious. It’s got to be the most memorable honeymoon ever!’
Celebrity Race Across The World continues on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
