Matthew Perry exploited as ‘cash cow’ by ‘greedy’ assistant and doctors as ‘seedy underworld’ of Hollywood exposed

Must read

Matthew Perry was exploited by his “greedy” assistant and doctors who helped supply the actor with over $50,000 worth of Ketamine, it has been claimed.

The Friends actor died last October after an accidental overdose of the drug. In a new development into the investigation, five people were charged in connection with supplying Perry with Ketamine.

United States attorney Martin Estrada said the people involved “knew what they were doing was wrong” and used “coded names” for the drug. One of texts exchanged about Perry also branded the beloved Hollywood star a “moron”.

Speaking to GB News, Showbiz Reporter Sarah-Louise Robertson claimed the revelations have exposed the “dark, seedy underworld” of Hollywood and the charges are “really shocking”.

Robertson said of the investigation: “When you’ve got money and power, as the likes of Matthew Perry did, you can hire anybody who will do anything for you, and this is what goes on.

“They have these unscrupulous people who only care about money, who are governed by greed and cold hard cash. If the price is high enough, they will do whatever it takes, and this is the situation you have here.”

Highlighting Perry’s past openness with his addictions and various treatments to overcome them, Robertson claimed that the Friends actor “thought these people meant him well”, but in reality they “enabling” the star and providing him with “huge amounts of ketamine”.

She added: “The most hurtful thing is the assistant, because the assistant was someone who was meant to be a friend, and yet left him knowing that he was injecting himself with these absolutely huge amounts of ketamine.

“You just think, where are people’s morals and common sense? But sadly, it’s just not there.”

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

Criticising the “distasteful” and “hurtful” behaviour of the gang which supplied the drug to Perry, Robertson hit out at them for “using him as a cash cow”.

Robertson told GB News: “The other thing I thought was really distasteful was the language that they were using in the text messages that was uncovered between this chain, this gang.

“They were calling Matthew a moron, saying literally, how much more money do you think we can get him to pay. He was a cash cow to these unscrupulous people.”

Claiming there are many similar situations circulating Hollywood behind the scenes, Robertson warned that there will be “more celebrity deaths” as a result of “underground gangs” providing drugs to the stars.

Robertson warned: “It’s a real seedy, corrupt underground system that goes on there. There will more Hollywood deaths like this – these people will go and then another group will come and take their place, that’s how it works.”

At the press conference detailing the investigation, US Attorney Martin Estrada said those involved “took advantage of Mr Perry’s addiction issues to enrich themselves.”

He added: “This network included a live-in assistant, various go-betweens, two medical doctors, and a major source of drug supply known as ‘The Ketamine Queen’.

“They knew what they were doing was risking great danger to Mr Perry, but they did it anyway.”
