An urgent manhunt is underway after a woman and her baby were abducted outside a shopping centre by a knife-wielding bloke.

The shocking incident happened outside the Stud Park Shopping Centre in Rowville, Melbourne, Australia, on May 10. CCTV footage shows the woman and her child getting out of their own Suzuki S-Cross car in the car park when the man carrying a knife walked up to her at around 6am.

According to a statement from Victoria Police he then threatened her, forcing her to get into the driver’s seat of her own car. He then got into the back seat – alongside the woman’s child – and demanded she drive to a series of tech stores where she was forced to buy him Apple MacBooks.
