POPULAR high street haunt Primark has made a huge change to its checkout system across 20 different stores.
The fashion giant will now offer self-checkout tills for customers in locations across the UK.
The new feature was first added into stores beginning in 2022, at sites in Sheffield, Northampton, West Bromwich and Kingston.
In an effort to quell the enormous queues that build up at Primark checkouts, more locations have steadily been added to the list.
Now the full number sits at 20 shops, and one could be your local.
Some people haven’t been pleased about the new development.
Expressing their disappointment on Facebook, one customer said it would make shopping there a “nightmare”.
They said: “I went to Primark Bexleyheath yesterday and found the downstairs tills have been changed to five to fix self-service and three to four manned tills.
“Only two of the manned tills were operational and the queue started to form.
“Leading up to Christmas be warned it will be a nightmare.”
Someone else raged: “Disgusting..I’m not a fan of the store anyway, but that has really put me off.”

A Primark spokesperson previously told The Sun: “So far, customers have really welcomed the increased choice, especially when they have a small purchase or are pressed for time.
“We’ll of course continue to review how we can improve any queuing times during the coming busy weeks.”
The fashion giant said the tills were in a trial stage and stores are chosen on a “case by case basis”.
They’re kept separate from the main tills and are protected by a security door which only opens once you scan a receipt – in a bid to stop shoplifting.
The retailer has also extended its click and collect service to an additional 32 stores in and around London and Greater London.
Shoppers who use click and collect can pick up their orders from a dedicated desk in any of the participating stores.
There’s no fee to use the click and collect service but customers need to spend a minimum of £10 on their orders.
