Thousands have reported issues with the online banking system
Monzo is down as thousands have reported issues with the online banking system. According to DownDetector, over 2000 people have logged issues with the bank since 12pm.
Users trying to access the banking app have received the following message: “We’re experiencing issues. We’ll let you know when they’re resolved.”
People have taken to social media platform X to log complaints with the issue. Mike said: “First time I’ve had an outage in my @monzo account” A Monzo spokesperson responded to the complaint: “We’re sorry about the trouble here. Our team are working super hard to get the issue resolved, we really appreciate your patience in the meantime.”
Another user named Becky asked if there is a timescale for when the issue could be resolved. A Monzo spokesperson responded: “We don’t have an exact timeframe at the moment, but our team are working to get this issue resolved ASAP. We really appreciate your ongoing patience here.”
