Max Payne 1 and 2 Remakes Are in Full Production, Control 2 in a Playable State, Remedy Says | XboxAchievements.com

Remedy has announced that the remakes of Max Payne and Max Payne II have now gone into full production, and that Control 2 is in a playable state.

As part of the company’s half-year financial report, it delivered updates on several of its upcoming titles. It wrote that Control 2 has “progressed to the production readiness stage.”

It also noted that “Max Payne 1&2 remake entered the full production stage.” This is great to know, though there isn’t any sense of how soon we could reasonably be playing these games. A while off yet.

Elsewhere, Remedy notes that Condor, the code-name for its multiplayer Control spin-off, is progressing well.

“The development team has worked on multiple maps and different mission types, and we have organized a growing amount of internal and limited external playtesting for feature validation and feedback,” the report says.

It’s good to know that these things are all on track. Earlier this year, in May, Remedy cancelled production on Kestrel, which was also a multiplayer project.
