This Morning‘s Jeff Brazier and more stars are setting off across South America for Celebrity Race Across the World season 2.
The BBC and producers Studio Lambert have confirmed the new season will begin on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
This year’s crop of celebrities will be setting off in the Amazon in Belém, Northern Brazil, before travelling across the continent of South America towards the finish line in the Andes.
Jeff Brazier is teaming up with his son Freddie (who is the younger brother to EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier), while BBC Radio 2’s Scott Mills is joining forces with his husband Sam Vaughan.
Ted Lasso‘s Kola Bokinni is paired up with his cousin Mary Ellen, while the season two lineup finishes off with telly icon Kelly Brook and her husband Jeremy Parisi.

“After the phenomenally successful run of the first celebrity series, and more recently the fourth series of the regular series — we can’t wait to bring audiences along with us to the huge South American continent and its jaw-dropping scenery, in a race which will push our celebrities and their loved ones to their absolute limits,” producer Tim Harcourt teased.
Catherine Catton, the BBC’s Head of Commissioning for Factual Entertainment and Events, added: “We’ve been delighted by the success of Celebrity Race Across the World, and are now incredibly excited to see some new famous faces and their loved ones take on this difficult yet highly rewarding race of a lifetime. We cannot wait to watch their journey unfold.”
The six-part show follows on the heels of Good Morning Britain host Alex Beresford and dad Noel winning the inaugural Celebrity Race Across the World in 2023 during a trek across Europe.
The most recent civilian season wrapped up in May, with the BBC already confirming that a fifth run is in the works.
Celebrity Race Across the World season 2 premieres Wednesday, August 14 on BBC One and iPlayer.
