Dating can be quite the challenge, and model Annie Knight is no stranger to its complexities.
The outspoken model, who gained attention for sharing she slept with 300 men in a single year, is always open about her personal escapades.
In a recent episode on the Double Dose podcast, which she co-hosts with Talia Maddison, Annie dished the details on a date with an Australian actor. The episode was posted to their 5,800 followers on Instagram.
The caption read: “Annie went on a date with an Australian celebrity and there were a few red flags.” Hailing from Melbourne, Annie shared: “This is my first date in six months.”
She elaborated: “It was with a very well-known Australian actor. But there were a few things and I wanted to talk about it in this segment because they’re more tips for people.
“The first thing was major name dropping and he would say things like ‘oh yeah he lets me keep my really expensive wines in his million dollar mansion’.
“And we walk past this house and he goes ‘oh that’s blah blah house. He let me stay there for like a year or whatever’. I was like ‘okay are you lying at this point?’
“Like that’s super random that we’d walk past that guy’s house when you were just talking about him five minutes ago.”
Annie was left feeling perplexed by the encounter and had “many questions”. However, the date took a turn for the worse when it came time to part ways.
The bloke embraced her tightly for an uncomfortably long time, seemingly oblivious to the social cues that would normally warrant a brief and less intimate hug.
Annie recounted: “You know when you just meet someone it’s the middle of the day so you just go in for like a light distanced hug.
“He grabbed me close to him, rubbed my back up and down. Held me for like 10 seconds and I’m like I hate physical touch when I don’t know someone.”
During the podcast, Annie brought up her endometriosis as part of the conversation as to why she was feeling unwell before their meeting.
Suddenly, the man blurted out: “Does it hurt when you have sex?” At that point, Annie thought: “I just met you and you’re asking about my sex life?”
The story quickly captured the attention of the public, but the reactions were mixed. One comment read: “What’s the difference as you have told the whole of Australia about your sex life?”
Another was more critical: “This is the biggest load of rubbish I have ever heard in my life, I’m out.”
