Hannah Spearritt is reportedly set to move to Costa Rica to start a career in farming after a ‘series of setbacks’ following Paul Cattermole’s death.
The S Club 7 star, 43, enjoyed a trip to the stunning location in 2018 and the visit inspired her and her partner Adam Thomas to set up a cafe in Twickenham in 2022.
However, the cafe was never ready to open fully and a friend told The Sun that Hannah is selling up amid rising costs.
The source said: ‘It’s the latest in a sequence of setbacks. The new plan is selling up and moving to Costa Rica to live off the land.’
Hannah and Adam, who have two girls aged Tea, five and Tora, three, previously looked at building a community in Central America.

She told The Sun: ‘That’s the dream, to move to Costa Rica and buy some land or a farm and live the simple life with the girls.’
It comes after Hannah’s ex-boyfriend and bandmate Paul tragically passed in 2023.
Paul was found dead at the age of 46 on April 6 at his home in Dorset, with no suspicious circumstances around his sudden death.
Following his tragic death, Hannah bowed out of S Club 7’s reunion in May as she revealed it ‘wasn’t the right time’ for her to go on tour with the band.
She told the Loose Women: ‘S Club will never be the same again, unfortunately. It just unfortunately wasn’t the right time for me to continue.’
Her bandmates Rachel Stevens, 45, Jon Lee, 41, Bradley McIntosh, 42, Jo O’Meara, 44, and Tina Barrett, 47, kicked off the S Club tour – which is dedicated to Paul – on October 12 2023.
Hannah previously admitted she doesn’t know if she will ever sing with S Club again.
She told The Sun: ‘Will I ever perform with them again? I just don’t know, I’m glad that the tour is still going ahead and the songs will live on, but now I’m looking forward, not backwards.’

She also revealed that she had been having ‘crippling panic attacks’ before quitting the tour as she spoke about how her health had been suffering at the time.
‘I hadn’t been in the best of health — I’ve got a compromised immune system and stress makes it worse,’ she went on.
‘My body just couldn’t cope with everything that was happening. I wasn’t myself, I was getting these crippling panic attacks, was suffering from really bad vertigo and was tired all the time.’
Hannah said her health was affecting her children also because she had no energy to do anything with them.
She explained that after Paul’s death, she realised she couldn’t rejoin S Club for the tour, admitting ‘it just didn’t feel right’.
Hannah apologised to S Club’s fans for deciding to leave but said she had to do what was best for herself and her family.
Hannah claimed she hadn’t been in touch with her former bandmates since she left the band, admitting she is sad not to be but insisted she wishes them ‘all the best’
