‘I need it ASAP!’ McDonald’s new limited-edition menu drops today and Britons are running to their local restaurant

To celebrate 50 years in the UK, McDonald’s has launched an exciting new menu that hit restaurants today, July 17, 2024. Fast food fans cannot wait for their next visit.

McDonald’s told customers: “It’s time to celebrate McDonald’s-style, as it celebrates its 50th birthday. Say hello to a limited-edition menu, featuring three brand-new desserts and a new cheesy side. Plus, a selection of returning icons are back on the scene.”


Customers can look forward to a selection of treats, main events and sides and shareboxes to choose from.

On social media, one McDonald’s customer said: “I know what I’m getting for dinner tonight.” Another had one look at the new menu and said they “need it ASAP”.

A third tagged a fellow McDonald’s fan and asked: “Can we now have little trips there?” A social media user added: “Maccies every day this week.” Someone said they “can’t wait to try”.

One McDonald’s fan was delighted to hear the news but seemed a little worried about the effects it could have on their waistline. They said: “Don’t do this to me, I’m fasting.”

After just one day on the scene, the Milkybar Raspberry Ripple McFlurry and Munchies Cookie Dough McFlurry already have a lot of fans. Once ice cream enthusiast said: “McFlurry tonight, please.”

Delighted cries of “Milkybar McFlurry” flooded social media accompanied by heart-eyed emojis. Someone said: “I really need a McFlurry.”

Others can’t wait to see the return of fan favourites. A social media user said: “Look what’s coming back – our favourite Double Big Mac.” Another responded that they were “dying” to try it.
