Amazon has cut its 32-inch budget TV to a crazy low price for Prime Day

Must read

PRIME DAY has brought massive discounts to Amazon’s Fire TV line-up, with the 32-inch 2-Series hitting its lowest price ever.

Back when the Fire TV series launched, I bought it at £249.99. Today, it’s a steal at just £139.99.

I spent almost £250 on Amazon’s 32-inch Fire television – it’s now 44% cheaper

£139.99 for Prime members (was £249.99)

Not only has the price of my 32-inch set dropped, but Amazon has slashed prices across its entire Fire TV range as the Prime Day sale kicks off.

Naturally, I was immediately drawn to the model I own, now available at a steep discount that I didn’t see coming when I originally purchased it.

For the next 48 hours, Prime members can snag the 32-inch 2-Series Fire TV for just £139.99.

This marks its lowest price yet, even lower than what I saw during the last Amazon sale in March when it dipped just below £180.

You’ll need to be a Prime member or sign up for the 30-day free trial to take advantage of this offer. But with savings of £110 on this deal alone, it pays dividends.

If you’re in the market for a small set for bedrooms, kids’ rooms, or cosy spaces, I don’t hesitate to recommend it.

It’s the same model I have in my bedroom, and it’s been perfect for me. I’ve been enjoying it every day since I got it (though I’m gutted I missed out on this deal).

The 32-inch display reads much larger in smaller spaces but doesn’t dominate the room, and while I griped about the 720p resolution at the time, it would be wasted on a TV of this size.

But honestly, it’s been just as good as HD, at least to my untrained eyes.

Amazon customers are equally satisfied with their buys, giving it a solid 4.4-star rating, a score I believe is well-earned.

“Can’t fault this,” said one reviewer, full of praise. “[I] almost bought a set twice the price. Used in bedroom, quality picture and sound, really easy to set up, and Alexa works with it great. 10/10 for this TV.”

Another wrote: “It’s a lovely TV. Set up is really easy because I have other Amazon devices in the house so it does most of itself. Good picture and works well with my soundbar.”

On the subject of soundbars, Amazon recently rolled out a new £100 Fire TV soundbar aimed at addressing a common concern among Fire TV users, myself included.

Given its budget price tag, there are typically some trade-offs in terms of quality.

Overall, though, it seems to have overcome most of those concerns. The only drawback is that it could use a bit more oomph in the volume department. So, I’m eyeing that soundbar for myself.

If you’ve been considering Fire TVs but want something larger, I spotted an early deal on the 55-inch 4-Series model, slashed from £550 to just £330.

That’s an excellent deal for a TV this size and calibre with 4K compatibility, so I recommend grabbing it before the sale wraps up tomorrow (Wednesday 17th July) at 11:59 pm.
