Biden campaign pulls adverts describing Trump as a dictator

Must read

Further evidence of the changed political landscape was the decision by the Left-leaning news channel MSNBC to pull its top-rated politics talk show Morning Joe.

The programme, which is hosted by Joe Scarborough and his wife Mika Brzezinski, regularly features criticism of Trump.

Instead, MSNBC continued rolling news coverage of the aftermath of the dramatic events in Pennsylvania “given the gravity and complexity of this unfolding story.”

Changing dynamics

Democrat strategists are nervously waiting for the next batch of opinion polls, which they fear will show Trump extending what had been a narrow lead across the country.

Their worst fears appeared to have been realised with the release of a new New York Times/Sienna College poll which not only showed the party losing the pivotal state of Pennsylvania but also suggested that the traditionally safe state of Virginia was now in play.

Gamblers on Polymarket, which invites punters to place bets on real-life events, are now convinced Trump will win, with 70 per cent betting the White House will change hands in November.
