To fast travel in The First Descendant, here is what you need to do:

  1. Access the Map by pressing Up on the D-pad or M on the keyboard.
  2. Look for Outposts or Temporary Safe Zones in the region where you want to travel.
  3. Long press the interact button to travel to the location of your choice.

You can only fast travel to Outposts and Temporary Safe Zones in The First Descendant. You can unlock Outposts and Temporary Safe Zones by progressing in the game. If you have a mission in a new area like the Grand Square, it will unlock the Outposts in said area.

  • You can freely fast travel to any location without worrying about losing any of your loot.
  • Unfortunately, you can’t fast travel to Battlefield Missions, Void Missions, and other points of interest.
