Must read

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been making the most of his time off since departing the Reds at the end of last season. And the German was in his homeland as the European Championship final between England and Spain took place.

Earlier in the day, with the match kicking off in the evening (local time), Klopp was spotted in a fan park where he handed out some shirts to fans. The 57-year-old was caught on camera holding up a Spain shirt and then throwing it into the crowd.

He also had some German jerseys. Klopp’s home country’s kit is also manufactured by Adidas, who he was representing at the event. As fans cheered and the music blared, the ex-Liverpool boss threw the shirts towards some lucky fans, as you can see in the video below.

“The LFC Foundation does an incredible job in the community, both in the Liverpool City Region and beyond,” Klopp said. “I am really proud to continue my work with them and be named the first ever LFC Foundation honorary ambassador. I look forward to seeing what we can do with that now that I have more time on my hands.”
