The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) is set to drive a tourism boom in the Bahamas by naming it the Destination Partner of the Year. This recognition highlights ASTA’s efforts to expand travel campaigns across the US and Miami, aiming to enhance tourism and strengthen the Bahamas’ position as a premier travel destination.

This prestigious award recognizes the Bahamas’ exceptional commitment to excellence in tourism, investments, and aviation, highlighting their successful efforts to foster and enhance their partnership with ASTA over the past year.

Event and Decision
The award was presented at ASTA’s 2024 Travel Advisor Conference held in Dallas, Texas, in May. ASTA members voted for the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments, and Aviation, acknowledging partners who best support ASTA’s mission of advancing the travel industry through effective representation and shared knowledge.
