As football fever sweeps England, festivals and concerts have been plagued by acts dropping out and calls for early finishes to allow fans to watch the Euros final.
Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park, north London, has revealed that four acts – including South African singer Tyla and UK rapper Digga D – have dropped out because of the match, while fans have been told that the event will conclude early for the final.
And comedian John Bishop has divided fans by rescheduling his Sunday show so he can watch England play Spain.
He was due to perform at Wolverhampton University at 7pm as part of his Back At It tour, but told fans on social media that there was ‘no chance’ he was missing the Three Lions play.

Some even created a petition calling for the football to be shown on screens inside the ground.
Ticket-holders for Corinne Bailey Rae have been told that her gig at Somerset House will now start at 6pm, and from 8pm there will be a large screen in the courtyard showing the football, although this will be for ticket-holders only.
The world matchplay darts tournament at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, which was scheduled to start at 7pm, has been moved to midday to avoid a clash.

Michael Kill, head of the Night Time Industries Association, told the Mail: ‘We are seeing promoters and venues accommodating these matches by shifting programming and in some instances finishing earlier.
‘In some cases organisers are helping fans by showing the matches, as fans prioritise this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness England lifting the Euros trophy.
‘The impact on our industry highlights the significant influence of football on social and entertainment activities.’
