Nintendo releases official magazine in English | VGC

Must read

Nintendo has released its Japan-only official magazine in English.

Published on Friday, the summer edition of Nintendo Magazine – which is usually given away in Japanese stores, such as Nintendo Tokyo and other locations – is now available to read digitally in English language.

Nintendo notes that because the magazine is intended for the Japanese market, some information such as pricing and release dates are not accurate for a global audience.

However, the summer edition does include a variety of features on upcoming Switch games, such as Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition, and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

As of this week, The Nintendo Switch has now officially had the longest lifespan of any Nintendo home console pre-successor.

Since its worldwide launch on March 3, 2017, 2,687 days have passed without the arrival of a successor console, meaning Switch’s lifespan has officially beaten Nintendo’s previous longest-lasting console, the Famicom (2,686 days).

Nintendo confirmed in May that it will announce its next console “this fiscal year”, meaning the Switch’s successor will be revealed by the end of March 2025 at the latest.
