King Charles recently expressed his condolences to a cancer patient in a heartfelt gesture, while his son Prince Harry received a controversial award.
For the unversed, the Monarch shared a heart-touching moment with a fellow cancer sufferer during his latest visit to the Welsh parliament in Cardiff.
As reported by GB News, Claire O’Shea, who is diagnosed with stage-four Leiomyosarcoma, has been raising awareness about the fatal disease in Wales.
On the other hand, King Charles has been currently undergoing cancer treatment after he announced his diagnosis in February.
Speaking of her delightful meeting with the King, she said, “I was pleased because I have been campaigning on cancer in Wales and knowing what he has been going through personally and what Princess Catherine has been going through as well I felt I could connect with them on an issue and I think that’s really helpful.”
“He passed his sympathies to me and was interested in how successful the campaign was and is going and how it was going to continue,” she added.
Notably, Charles’s sweet comments came amid the Duke of Sussex’s headline- making appearance at the 2024 ESPY Awards.
