ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Heart to Heart Bride held its second annual Justin Alexander Fashion Show in Webster Thursday, giving Rochester brides a chance to see exclusive, unreleased dresses.
With two employees recently recovering from cancer, the company took the opportunity to turn the event into a fundraiser, collaborating with the Cancer Support Community of Rochester.
All proceeds from ticket and champagne purchases will be donated to the CSC, funding activities for those fighting cancer.
“It’s important because it’s bringing the community together, but it’s also important because it’s bringing awareness to cancer, and that it affects all of us,” Cancer Support Community Board Member Rosa LaDelfa said. “It doesn’t matter if you’re rich or poor, young or old, it affects all of us, and this is what it’s all about, is community helping community prosper.”
Those in attendance were also entered in a raffle to win a free Justin Alexander wedding dress
