Man Utd handed Leny Yoro transfer chance with £68m double raid now possible

Must read

Manchester United have reportedly been given a boost in their pursuit of Leny Yoro.

MEN Sport understands that United are looking for two new centre-backs to fill the void left by Raphael Varane. Yoro is claimed to be one of the options being looked at to reinforce defence.

However, the 18-year-old is attracting interest from several big clubs from across Europe including Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool. Real Madrid have long been seen as the favourites for his signature but it is said they are far from meeting Lille’s demands.

According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Madrid are only willing to pay £17million (€20m) up front with the rest in add-ons. Lille are claimed to have already significantly lowered their asking price and now want £34m (€40m) for him.

The report adds that United, Liverpool and PSG would all be ‘willing’ to pay the price the French club are demanding for Yoro.

Elsewhere, United have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Rennes midfielder Desire Doue. According to French journalist Abdellah Boulma, both PSG and Bayern Munich are ‘favourites’ for his signature, though the latter is thought to have a ‘slight lead.’
