Harry teases Royal Family details he ‘wouldn’t want world to know’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle need to ensure their next Netflix projects are a “success” if they want to have their contract renewed, a royal commentator has warned.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex struck a deal with the streaming platform after quitting their royal roles and have since released only a six-part docuseries on their decision to leave the Royal Family and a documentary on Harry’s work with the Invictus Games.

Their efforts have been met with mixed reviews, sparking speculation on whether Netflix would sign up the couple for another five years after seeing very little in terms of actual programmes.

With Meghan and Harry now due to release a new lifestyle show and a documentary on the world of polo, commentator Kinsey Schofield argued it is “crucial” for them to deliver a strong product to the streaming giant.

The To Di For Daily founder told Sky News Australia: “This is crucial that this is a success, because Harry and Meghan’s only commercial hit so far has been their docuseries which basically was hours and hours of the ripping into the British Royal Family.

“So it’s very, very important that Meghan’s show or Harry’s polo program see some similar numbers to the Harry and Meghan docuseries or they risk losing that Netflix gig.”
