You could not have missed JLo‘s abs, sculpted back and the shapely butt and that’s because of a reason. She focuses the most on three muscle groups and they are biceps, back and booty!
LESSON 2 – She doesn’t believe in rest days
JLo is super energetic and highly disciplined. She likes to break a sweat early in the morning. She balances her time and makes sure that she works out every single day.
LESSON 3 – She exercises to stay sane
The 54-year-old star had shared in one of her interviews that on days she is not feeling great after getting back home, she goes to the gym. Workouts instantly lift her mood and make her feel great!
LESSON 4 – She loves to dance
JLo is convinced that working out does wonders for her physical as well as mental health and dance has always been a very important part of her life. A good dance session leads to release of endorphins, the happy hormones, and if you love it, then nothing better than that!
LESSON 5 – She prioritises sleep
Several researches have now clearly established how important good sleep is for a healthy body and mind. JLo swears by this and has always been a big advocate of ‘getting enough sleep’. She once said in an interview that she would prefer to get 9-10 hours of sleep everyday but she makes sure she gets a minimum of 8.
LESSON 6 – Warm-ups are necessary
Her trainer had shared how he does two songs warmup with her without weights, which is enough to help her body prep for the workout. Then gradually they keep adding weights.
LESSON 7 – She cheats whenever required
JLo eats a balanced diet but she isn’t too rigid about her diet. If her kids want to indulge in something that are not really low in calories, then she enjoys it with them. She drinks 7 glasses of water everyday and avoids caffeine and alcohol.
LESSON 8 – She doesn’t let her workouts get mundane
She loves to constantly change her workouts and shock the body so that she never gets bored and is always excited and motivated to work out. “I am open to pushing myself!”
