Casualty spoilers follow.
Next week on Casualty, Dylan gets heartbreaking news about Dervla, while Cam isolates himself and Stevie is worried.
With the show staying on BBC Two next week because of BBC One’s Olympics coverage, here’s a full collection of all the biggest stories coming up in the next instalment of ‘Storm Damage’:
1. Dervla is ill
Dylan visits the vet with Dervla and he is given the devastating news that her cancer has spread and she is giving up.
Blinded by his love for his beloved dog, Dylan encourages the vet to keep treating Dervla, and asks them to do more tests and throw everything they can at the effort to save her life.
2. Cam feels isolated
Cam is at home on leave – following the death of baby Chloe and his recent interactions with Jamie and Bobby. Siobhan refused to accept his resignation, so he is taking time to consider his position.
Rida and Jodie, oblivious to what is really wrong with Cam, encourage him to go outside and not stay indoors feeling sorry for himself.
But Cam continues to stay inside, turning to alcohol and isolating himself from others.

3. Teddy is in danger
Teddy and Jan treat a patient and are set to take him to the hospital, but things soon go wrong when the ambulance is taken over by a man high on drugs.
Both Teddy and the patient are in danger as the man drives through the streets recklessly.
4. Stevie is nervous
After Stevie found out that Siobhan’s husband is Rich – the married man she has been having an affair with – she is feeling wary.
In the ED she is reminded of Rich’s presence and feels anxious around Siobhan – but she has her own battle with Jamie.
5. Dylan is distracted
Dylan arrives at work from the vets in a low mood and treats a patient with a torn earlobe.
It seems that she is hiding something, but Dylan puts Jodie in charge of the case, then dismisses her concerns that the patient is in danger.
Sophia later has a go at Dylan, telling him that he has dropped the ball at work and saying he needs to put the lives of his patients before his personal life.
6. The team meeting turns sour
Siobhan phones Cam and encourages him to come to this afternoon’s Schwartz meeting – where the staff raise wellbeing concerns and debrief after difficult cases.
He promises to be there, and when he arrives, the team are discussing Chloe’s death. Cam explodes, blaming himself for what happened, and no one is able to get through to him. How much longer will he bottle up his emotions?
Casualty airs on Saturday nights on BBC One and now streams first on BBC iPlayer, where episodes are released at 6am on the day of transmission.
