The family who star in Channel 5’s 22 Kids and Counting have expanded their already gigantic brood even more. Proud grandparents Noel and Sue Radford announced this evening that their daughter, Katie, has given birth to a little boy.

The new addition marks the 10th grandchild for Britain’s biggest family. In a sweet Instagram post, the family shared the adorable name of the newest little boy.

Noel and Sue expressed that they were “very proud” of their eighth oldest child, 21-year-old Katie, and her long-term partner Connor Carter as they welcomed the new life into the world.

Sharing a few snaps of the parents and their little bundle of joy, the proud grandparents shared his name as they wrote: “Welcome to the world Ronnie [blue love hearts] He’s just so precious congratulations Katie and Connor he’s just amazing [in love emojis]. Very proud nana and grandpops.”

New mum Katie offered up more information to fans of the Channel 5 show in a social media post of her own. She let followers know that Ronnie had been born at 5.03pm weighing 7.11 pounds on October 8.

She wrote: “Tuesday 8th October born at 5:03PM weighing 7:11 the day you changed our lives forever little man mummy and daddy love you so much RONNIE HUDSON CARTER.”

Fans were delighted with the update, with many flooding the comments on the posts with messages of congratulations. One wrote: “Congratulations another radford in the world, he is adorable xx.”

Another added: “OMG, congrats. Little Katie has a baby, where does time go?” While a third penned: “Congratulations to all of you, especially Katie and Connor. Sue, did you ever consider just how many grandkids you could end up with when having 22 babies yourself? Love your huge family.”

The young couple announced the pregnancy in an episode of 22 Kids and Counting which aired in May earlier this year. It showed the dad-to-be moving in with Katie in the family home.

Having more mouths to feed under their roof was no problem to Sue, who previously admitted she “dreads” the thought of having an empty nest.

She said: “We adore being surrounded by kids, so I’d love to adopt or foster. We’re not having any more of our own so it’s definitely something we’d think about when ours are older.”

Between them, Sue and Noel are parents to Chris, 34, Sophie, 29, Chloe, 28, Jack, 26, Daniel, 24, Luke, 22, Millie, 22, Katie, 21, James, 19, Ellie, 18, Aimee, 17, Josh, 16, Max, 14, Tillie, 13, Oscar, 11, Casper, 10, Hallie, eight, Phoebe, seven, Archie, six, Bonnie, five and Heidie, four.
