Cody Kopa has been open about his steroid use and documenting his journey at 14 years old.

The use of steroids has become commonplace in the sport of bodybuilding but it continues to come with many risks. This is why professional competitors work under the guidance of medical professionals while preparing for a show. Substances have also become available for the younger generation to use as well.

Cody Kopa, a 14-year-old fitness enthusiast, has been documenting his journey using steroids. His updates on Instagram date back to February where the teen was looking to add some bodyweight in the gym. Kopa’s videos suggest that he trained for a year and a half naturally before hopping on Trenbolone. The first mention of the substance was in May but comments suggest he has been on longer.

Kopa has been promoting his use of steroids and sharing updates following workouts. His latest video came on Friday where he claims his steroid use is “to be jacked.”

While Kopa has been advocating for Tren, many competitors have spoken out against the steroid.

Many competitors have discussed their experiences on Tren — and the reviews are mixed.

Chris Bumstead and Larry Wheels both had negative experiences on Tren and avoid it because of the side effects. On the other hand, Nathan De Asha claims that he used Tren “year-round.”

Victor Martinez discussed his feelings on Tren and his steroid use during an episode of the Generation Iron Podcast. He debunked the theory of “roid rage” but spoke on the overall emotions felt. Martienz assets that often times, steroids simply enhance the intensity of moods that a user naturally feels.

Martinez also discussed if minors should be using steroids. This came after the state of New York barred sale of over-the-counter muscle building supplements to minors 18 years old and younger. He highlighted one substance that minors should avoid and it is pre-workout.

Martinez believes that these substances, when used too often, can cause negative impacts on young lifters. While pre-workout can help improve energy during training, young individuals should not need to rely on it.
